Getting the youth involved in aviation is important to JLPC, and therefore, the St Stithians Boys’ College Aviation Club was invited to be a part of this weekend’s event. The boys came prepared with cloths and buckets; ready to wash aircraft in exchange for a ride. The event was attended by an immaculate Navion, Tracy Robb’s Dornier, some Cubs as well as a Tiger Moth, Cessna 152 and Cessna 140. The clubhouse was a hive of activity, and we were treated to some Chipmunk aerobatics as well as a skydiver in spectacular freefall.
